IT WAS A GOOD DAY FOR A BIKE RIDE, WITH A LIGHT SPRINKLE
this is a picture of Chicago and Wood at 6 pm - the time i usually get home for the day. Chicago and Wood is pretty much the corner of my block. You can see the Hancock building in the distance.
i love riding my bike through shady weather sometimes. everything seems not so bad when its turned down a notch by my headphones. My music provides a soundtrack that makes riding through inclement weather enjoyable, and sometimes ironic.
today was one of those days where i felt like i could ride forever.
i like riding in the city, the mood can change with each traffic light, so it is nice to ride with music that can change as often as the lights do.
for most my rides, it takes three to four songs to get anywhere.
it was a WARM TO SPRINKLES DAY:
‘Time Will’ - Hercules and Love Affair
‘Everywhere You Turn’ - The Bad Plus
‘Tiny Cities Made of Ashes (BBC Radio Session) - Modest Mouse
‘Let There Be Light’ - Justice
‘Come On! Feel the Illinoise!: Part…’ - Sufjan Stevens
‘Black Wave’ - The Shins
‘1999’ - Prince
‘The Sun Comes Through’ - Kelley Stolz
‘I Keep Losing Heart’ - Electrelane
‘Packt Like Sardines in a Crushed Tin Box - Radiohead
‘See a Penny (Pick It Up)’ - YACHT
